AXS is SRAM’s new bike component integration system that connects electronic bicycle components and software. The SRAM AXS app allows riders to see battery status, change component behavior, personalize controls, get maintenance reminders, and update firmware.
With CAGE LOCK technology in the rear derailleur, wheel removal and installation—as well as chain installation—becomes faster and simpler. Just push the cage forward to create slack and lock it into place.
ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH technology eliminates derailleur bounce and chain slap without sacrificing precision.
Eagle technology represents our newest 1x drivetrain technology. Eagle is a lighter, simpler, more durable, and easier to use drivetrain. Eagle features all-new 1x components, engineered for even greater durability and performance while maintaining a significant weight advantage over other drivetrain solutions. Eagle technology also provides an expanded gear range of 520%, which is equal to 2x11 drivetrains.
This rear derailleur’s “straight parallelogram” design limits all movement to the horizontal axis, which makes ghost shifting impossible while also reducing shift force. For quicker, more exact shifting, the large upper pulley offset design maintains a constant chain gap across all gears.
SRAM X-SYNC 1x chainrings provide the highest level of performance and durability. The SRAM X-SYNC tall square teeth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangle shaped teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile, as well as rounded chamfer edges, help manage a deflected chain. To provide the best possible performance in muddy conditions, the X-SYNC chainrings have been designed with mud-clearing recesses for the inner chain links and rollers. Engineered in Germany, X-SYNC rings are an integral part of the SRAM 1x drivetrain. Accept no imitation.

Overload Clutch
Does your derailleur protect itself? GX Eagle AXS does. Our incredibly resilient Overload Clutch design allows the derailleur to sense impact and safeguard against potential damage. By quickly disengaging the motor gearbox, the derailleur has freedom to move out of harm's way, before instantly returning to its position for a seamless experience for the rider. A lot less bent derailleur hangers.
Batteries are EASY
SRAM AXS BATTERY The SRAM AXS battery offers approximately 20 hrs of ride timre or more, weights just 25g and is detachable with a single clip and it only take an hour to charge. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Checking battery life is easy, green light is go, red light means its at or close to half the charge. flashing red means its time for a charge. To prolong battery life, the system goes to into power save mode when the bike is stationary. BATTERY COVER The SRAM Battery Cover adds a stylish, protective cowling around your battery to ensure it stays safe and protected from impacts. The Cover is also compatible with our existing XX1 and X01 Eagle AXS Derailleurs.
