Made your purchase and not quite stoked? If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, set up a return and we'll work with you to get exactly what you want and need or refund your purchase.
Free In Store Pick-Up
Have the convenience of shopping the inventory of all three locations and our warehouse and have access to all of our inventory in one place! Ready for you to pick up at the most convenient store for you within 24-48 hours for free.
Here are a couple of things to note:
- We will email you when your order is ready for pickup
- Please allow 24-72 hours for order processing.
- Head to our Sales Counter or engage any of our staff in helping you to pick up your order.
- Please come prepared with your order pickup confirmation in digital or printed format, please save a tree.
- You will need to bring picture ID & the Credit Card used to make purchase in order to pick up your order.
Please try to pick up your order within 7 business days or call our Online Customer Service Team to make alternate arrangements. Orders not picked up within 30 days will be returned to our inventory and your payment will be converted to in store credit.
Insured Shipping
Receive replacement or refund for lost, stolen, or damaged shipments.
Protect your shipment with insured shipping through The Bike Shop and receive replacement or refund for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
If you choose to not insure your package, there is no coverage for lost, stolen, or damaged shipments.
All insured packages will need a signature upon delivery.
The cost to insure your package is:
- $5 for orders under $300
- 1.5% of the value of the order, before taxes, on orders over $300.01
Standard Ground Shipping does not include insurance. If you want to insure your shipment please select "Insured Standard Ground" as your shipping method selection.
Shipping within Canada
Orders are sent via UPS standard parcel unless otherwise specified. Applicable provincial and federal taxes are applied when your order is processed according to where the item will be shipped. All orders being shipped are sent from our warehouse & fulfillment location in Calgary, AB and take one to two business days to process, in addition to the delivery times shown. Isolated and rural areas may take longer.

Canadian taxes are not collected on orders shipped outside of Canada. However, orders shipped outside of Canada are subject to import duties, taxes, and customs processing fees, which are levied once the package reaches its destination. These fees are collected by the carrier or brokerage company and customers are responsible for paying them. The Bike Shop is unable to give estimates for these fees. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

When you purchase a bike, these Items are PST Exempt, unfortunately, they do not qualify for the exemption if they are purchased on their own.

Shipping to the USA
Orders sent to the USA are shipped by Xpresspost or DHL Express. Orders shipped to the USA are not charged Canadian taxes; however, all orders pass through customs and are subject to import duties, taxes, and custom processing fees. A customs invoice will arrive with your parcel or may follow in the mail. Recipients are responsible for paying these additional fees.
The Bike Shop is unable to provide estimates for customs fees. Check with your local customs office for more information.

International Shipments
We love finding ways to get product into customer’s hands all over the world; however, there is no easy way to quote pricing for this so please email us or hop on our chat on our website with your inquiries and we would be happy to assist you in getting the product you are looking for.
Rates are based on a minimum value of $35 plus extra charges based on the size of the package being shipped. Orders going to international destinations are shipped by either Canada Post, FedEx or DHL Express. Orders shipped outside of Canada are not charged Canadian taxes; however, all orders pass through customs and are subject to import duties, taxes, and custom processing fees. A customs invoice will arrive with your parcel or may follow in the mail. Recipients are responsible for paying these additional fees.

Many international destinations are now receiving improved airmail service via Canada Post Xpresspost International. For countries and delivery times visit Canada Post.
Shipping Restrictions
Shipping restrictions may apply to certain products and destinations. These restrictions include regional distribution agreements, hazardous or over-sized products, and complexity in exporting some items.
Backorders
If an item you want to purchase is temporarily out of stock, you may still be able to backorder it. This allows you to reserve the next available stock, so when we receive it, we ship it to you. Backordered item(s) usually ship within four to five weeks – we’ll send you an email when your order is on its way.
If an item you want to purchase hasn’t yet arrived in stores you can pre-order it. Items available for pre-order should ship within four to five weeks but this time frame can vary widely based on the item and vendor.
