Insured Shipping
Receive replacement or refund for lost, stolen, or damaged shipments. Protect your shipment with insured shipping through The Bike Shop and receive replacement or refund for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
If you choose to not insure your package, there is no coverage for lost, stolen, or damaged shipments.
All insured packages will need a signature upon delivery.
The cost to insure your package is:
• $5 for orders under $300
• 1.5% of the value of the order, before taxes, on orders over $300.01
Standard Ground Shipping does not include insurance. If you want to insure your shipment please select "Insured Standard Ground" as your shipping method selection.

Certain products or orders are too large, fragile, and/or heavy to be shipped by standard methods. Please email weborders@thebikeshop.com, or call us (403) 264-0802 and we will let you know if your order requires extra freight. A ground door-to-door service for larger items and hazardous goods is also available - some restrictions apply.

*Please note at this time, bicycles, oversize and overweight items do not qualify for free shipping.
Shipping Outside of Canada
Orders shipped outside of Canada are subject to import duties, taxes, and customs processing fees, which are levied once the package reaches its destination. These fees are collected by the carrier or brokerage company and customers are responsible for paying them. The Bike Shop is unable to give estimates for these fees. Please contact your local customs office for more information.
