When we first premiered the Factor O2, it was ridden to mountain top stage victories at the Tour de France and second place at Paris-Roubaix. As good as that version of the O2 proved to be, this revamped O2 is even better, thanks largely to improved manufacturing techniques that allow us to make the frame lighter, stronger, and more durable. Our ability to control every aspect of the manufacturing process allows us to optimize every aspect of the frame design. Advancements like the Svelte Fork increase control, stiffness, and comfort, while the tapered steerer tube enhances steering precision and introduces aerodynamic gains.
MANUFACTURING EXPERTISE
Always looking for innovative ways to make our bikes even better, we have used ultra high pressure molds when manufacturing the O2 frames. These molds remove excessive resin from the base material, which not only helps to keep the weight to a minimum, but also ensures a stronger, more efficient carbon frame. It’s an innovative engineering solution that translates directly into performance. This advanced manufacturing method allows us to create a stiff, responsive frame that also is comfortable enough for Paris-Roubaix cobbles and stable enough at high speeds to slice down an alpine descent.
UNCOMPROMISED RIGIDITY
The asymmetrical downtube forms the backbone of the frame, with the carbon layup focused on withstanding the various torsional forces each side of the bike will experience. The bottom bracket shares this asymmetric design to ensure the drive train side stands up to a WorldTour level power output. The rear triangle works to ensure solid acceleration through the drivetrain thanks largely to the beefy chainstays. The lithe seatstays introduce a comfortable level of vibration absorption without compromising the efficiency of power transfer.

Speed is your goal. Every ride, whatever the surface, faster is what counts, and this is the gravel bike you’ve been waiting for. The OSTRO Gravel takes its ‘win everywhere’ mentality from its road racer stablemate, the OSTRO VAM, and is likewise developed to dominate its category with incredible aero, superior handling, high stiffness and low weight. With a tire capacity of 45mm, it’s ready to go anywhere, fast.
REAL-WORLD GRAVEL AERO
Gravel racing is fast and aero really matters, but it isn’t as fast as road racing so the requirements are different. The OSTRO Gravel frame is carefully optimized for the speeds at which you’ll be riding. Our team used a ‘zoned aero’ strategy which focused the front of the bike on aerodynamics because it meets clean, or freestream, air flow, and the rear of the bike on lightness, where the air flow is too chaotic and ride quality is the priority. In particular, a lot of time was spent on the head tube, where an all-new tube shape unlocked significant drag reductions by manipulating the ‘laminar separation bubble’ that occurs near the front of airfoils at lower speeds. The tech is rooted in aerospace but all you really need to know is that the OSTRO Gravel will get you to your finish line faster, and by minutes, not seconds.
45MM TIRE CLEARANCE
The OSTRO Gravel offers a generous 45mm of tire clearance in both 700c and 650b, giving you the options and possibilities to tackle the toughest routes and events. This is a real figure, with 4mm of clearance either side in accordance with ISO standards, so the OSTRO Gravel is super-capable in muddy conditions. That was proven at the queen of gravel races, the 2022 Unbound 200, where heavy rain made the course brutal and the OSTRO Gravel was ridden to a top-10 finish.
STEERING GEOMETRY OPTIMIZED FOR ALL TIRE SIZES
Many all-road and gravel bikes struggle to deliver steering that’s effective and confident both on- and off-road, typically ending up with an unsatisfying compromise of soft handling and modest tire capacity. The OSTRO Gravel breaks that mold by making the tire size an integral part of the geometry. Wider tires also have a greater outside diameter (or rolling circumference) which increases the true, or ‘resulting’ trail of a bike; narrower tires have a smaller outside diameter which reduces resulting trail. These outcomes match the handling response you want when riding those respective tires, so we designed with resulting trail as the priority. We selected a trail value on the slightly faster handling side for gravel use, given the bike’s racing focus, while prioritizing head tube angle when selecting our fork rake. This leads to a fast handling gravel bike on 43mm tires and an equally satisfying and precise all-road machine on 32s, with no low-speed wheel flop.

If you’re the sort of rider who races with ‘the knife between your teeth’ no matter the parcours, this is the bike you’ve been waiting for. When we say you can have it all, we mean it.
LIGHTWEIGHT AND AERO
The OSTRO VAM is an aero disc-brake frame which weighs just 830g (painted, size 54, Flicker design). We have used the very best materials to reach such a low weight, laying up the ultimate carbon materials perfectly to ensure low weight, responsive ride, and durability. It can easily be built up to below the UCI 6.8kg weight limit, which is unique among aero frames. That means that the aero advantages come without the usual weight penalty. Few rides or race routes are exclusively mountainous or flat roads so, naturally, you want it all: speed and lightweight. The OSTRO is the everything bike, making you fast whatever the terrain.
EXCEPTIONAL COMFORT
As an aero racing bike that has proved itself on the cobbles of Paris-Roubaix, the OSTRO VAM will also be ideal for your roughest, longest roads. Its remarkably smooth ride is thanks to several factors. First the carbon fiber choice and layup combine to achieve a high level of frame compliance without sacrificing any of the power transfer efficiency. At the rear, the ViSTA-style pencil seat stays are designed to absorb road noise and cushion bumps. And the ability to fit up to 32mm wide tires only enhances the OSTRO’s comfort-oriented design features.
GEOMETRY AND FIT
You can make a bike as light and aero as you like, but if you get the fit wrong, you’re not going to be enjoying your rides. To feel comfortable and have confidence in your handling, it’s essential to match your style to the right geometry. Like the O2 and O2 VAM, the OSTRO VAM is a pure racing bike intended to get the rider into an aggressive stance, and consequently they all share very similar geometries throughout the sizes. Geometry standardization makes it easier for our pros to switch between bikes during races, and it will help you stick to your comfort zone for your most important events.
Though aerodynamics and lightweight frequently are playing tug-of-war, the OSTRO VAM design makes sure these two essential considerations are both pulling in the same direction. In designing the OSTRO, Factor considered every aspect of the frame and applied the optimum aero profile, with particular regard to the transitions between frame sections and to performance across a full range of effective wind angles. The tube profiles are derived from NACA (National Advisory Committee on Aeronautics) shapes, oriented along the waterline (horizontal) in line with airflow and optimised for ride quality and aero-to-weight balance by truncating the aero section aggressively.
The one-piece, aerodynamic Black Inc Barstem reduces drag by meeting clean incoming airflow with a clean shape. Fully internal cabling brings further gains and Factor has achieved this while maintaining a 1?” top headset bearing for optimised frontal area, whereas many other brands increase the head tube size to accommodate internal cabling, cancelling out the benefits. And the introduction of CeramicSpeed SLT Bearings removes any worry of headset maintenance.
Enhancing comfort and making the most of the aerodynamic benefits offered by Black Inc’s wide rims, the OSTRO VAM can accommodate up to 32mm tires.

We engineered Áspero for pure, unapologetic speed, ready to take down finish lines, KOMs, PRs, and FKTs. A bike built without limits, for the riders looking to test them. It’s stiff—Classics-racing stiff—and performs like you’d want a road bike to perform off-road. We think that makes sense, and it’s what we were trying to do when we were stuffing bigger tires into our existing frames and swapping in aftermarket forks to get a 40mm tire up front.
TWO-POSITION ADJUSTMENT
Trail—front-wheel response to rider input—is the most critical factor in high-velocity handling. Flipping the two-position "Trail Mixer" to compensate for the difference in circumference between a 650b and 700c tire maintains consistent handling by maintaining consistent trail figures.
MULTIPLE CONFIGURATIONS
We designed Aspero with clearance for up to 700c x 40mm tires or 650b x 49mm tires. Of course, there are variables—rim width, tire casing, and tread depth—which will affect final clearance. We (and the International Organization for Standardization, or ISO), always recommend 4mm of clearance between the tire and frame.
